The challenge

Make the engineering problem visible

Modular systems must repeat cleanly while accommodating end conditions, doors, bracing, panels, foundations, transport, and practical installation. A universal module only creates value when its interfaces are simple and controlled.

Approach

Structure the work around decisions

  • Develop a consistent bay and interface strategy.
  • Resolve frame members, connections, end conditions, and openings.
  • Model representative configurations to test repeatability.
  • Support a physical PVC prototype to learn about proportion and assembly.
The modular definition provides a base for configuration planning, material comparison, fabrication detailing, installation sequencing, and further structural verification.
Portfolio note

Final structural adequacy depends on site, span, wind, snow, foundation, materials, and jurisdiction-specific review.
