Modular Greenhouse System
A repeatable structural module developed to support configurable greenhouse sizes, fabrication, and prototype assembly.

03Controlled next step

The challenge
Make the engineering problem visible
Modular systems must repeat cleanly while accommodating end conditions, doors, bracing, panels, foundations, transport, and practical installation. A universal module only creates value when its interfaces are simple and controlled.
Approach
Structure the work around decisions
- Develop a consistent bay and interface strategy.
- Resolve frame members, connections, end conditions, and openings.
- Model representative configurations to test repeatability.
- Support a physical PVC prototype to learn about proportion and assembly.
The modular definition provides a base for configuration planning, material comparison, fabrication detailing, installation sequencing, and further structural verification.
Portfolio note
Final structural adequacy depends on site, span, wind, snow, foundation, materials, and jurisdiction-specific review.
